Use the details on our contact page. Include the page URL, the exact statement in question and a primary or authoritative source where one is available. Do not send sensitive personal records.
How we assess corrections
- Check the cited source and the date or jurisdiction it covers.
- Compare the claim with the page's other primary sources.
- Correct material errors or clarify genuine uncertainty and local variation.
- Update the visible review date only when the page receives a meaningful recheck.
What changes are recorded
Small spelling or formatting fixes do not create artificial freshness. Substantive factual changes should be reflected in the page text, sources and review metadata. Where a correction materially changes the reader's decision, the explanation should be clear in context.
Challenges and commercial pressure
Evidence can change our reporting; commercial pressure cannot. We do not remove accurate criticism solely because a business or service provider dislikes it.
